Appraisals
We prepare written valuations of your jewelry for insurance purposes. Call for an available time to bring your jewelry for the appraisal. Store personnel will measure and evaluate your items while you wait. The written appraisal will be completed for mailing or pick-up within a few days.
REPLACEMENT VALUE APPRAISAL
The values set forth herein are estimates of the average current market price at which the appraised jewelry may be purchased in the average fine jewelry store.
CASH VALUE-TODAY APPRAISAL
The term “cash value-today” as used herein is defined as the individuals ability to quickly translate the jewelry into dollars, without regard for maximizing the return. Generally, the
amount realized will be dependent on the ability to find a buyer with the desire for the particular piece and cash to pay for it. The item is used, diamonds may be broken and no warranty is given. This type of appraisal is generally used for settling an estate.
